This blog started life as an antidote to the slew of perfect life blogs, relentlessly marching their way across the internet like an army of perfectly labelled matching jars containing home made play-doh.
As my offspring have grown up, and need less hands on attention, the blog has evolved to be mainly about my attempts to find beauty products that work for real people, not make up artists, and that have a fighting chance of making me look even a couple of years younger than I actually am. I am nothing if not demanding. And optimistic.
Sometimes I talk about my botched attempts at parenting, too.
Any beauty products I discuss on here have generally been bought by me or given to me as a gift by friends and family. I clearly note when I have received them as a PR sample.
You can email me at imperfectionist.mum@gmail.com and follow me on twitter at @animperfectlife. I’d love to hear from you.
